Acquisition Philosophy

Works are made slowly and released with equal care. The studio’s approach to acquisition prioritises long-term placement over volume, with the intention that each work enters a context where it can be lived with, returned to, and held over time.

Original drawings are offered selectively, often in connection with completed bodies of work or exhibitions. The studio values quiet continuity — relationships with collectors are built through trust, discretion, and shared attentiveness to the work.

Acquisition is considered not as transaction, but as stewardship: the ongoing life of a work beyond the studio.

Editions and Originals

Original works are singular drawings on paper — the primary site of the work itself, with tonal depth and surface presence that cannot be replicated. These pieces are offered sparingly and are typically held within resolved series.

Limited editions are produced as a secondary expression of the practice, allowing a broader entry point for collectors while maintaining fidelity to the original work. Editions are released in small numbers and are carefully finished, signed, and archived.

Both forms remain connected to the same studio language: graphite, restraint, and duration.

Editions are available at The Graphite Line - Limited Edition Works.
