This drawing explores a moment of suspended movement—where strength, vulnerability, and grace coexist. The figure’s lifted arm and kicked leg suggest freedom and momentum, while her direct gaze anchors the composition in presence and self-possession. Rendered in graphite, the absence of colour heightens focus on form, balance, and emotional restraint. The topless figure is not posed for display but for autonomy; the body becomes a vehicle for expression rather than spectacle. The work invites quiet contemplation of confidence, rhythm, and the poise found within motion.
